Parking

Kaapelitehdas is a private area, in the inner court there are 8 parking places which are chargeable 24 hours a day, and 2 disabled parking spaces. Free disabled parking is only allowed on these marked places with specific timing. Around the Kaapelitehdas area there are general chargeable parking spaces provided by the City of Helsinki. There are several payment options on their parking machines. At Shopping Center Ruoholahti there are about 1500 chargeable parking spaces.

MRKTNG Day is the most important work day of the year for all CEOs, CMOs, marketing and communication professionals, agencies, medias, influencers and start-ups.

There will be 2 full days filled with inspiring key notes, detailed workshops and practical case studies, along with the possibility of networking among the 600 participants.

The theme of the day is how brands can do good with marketing. All the international and domestic guest speakers will be concentrating on issues how brands can build more trust by communicating from human to human, putting people first and bringing purpose to deliver meaningful value. Multiple case studies will be presented during the day.

The event will be fully in English. Translation services provided upon request.

Admission fee includes 10 world class key note speakers, 4 workshops diving deep into current topics, hearty breakfast, delicious lunch, refreshments and snacks during both days, a unique possibility of networking with 600 best marketing professionals and our international guest speakers and the best partners within the industry, a goody bag with plentiful of new and interesting products and materials. A toolbox full of new, rich and mind-blowing ideas to bring into practice with your team on daily basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund any purchased tickets, but it is possible to allocate the ticket to a colleague, or any other third party, as long as it will be informed to us at least 14 days before the event. It is not possible to change the person or the organization liable for the payment.

The tickets can be paid at our web shop either with an invoice or with Paytrail online payment (web bank or debit/credit card)

You can send additional information or change the name of the ticket holder by sending us a message: ml@mainostajat.fi at least 14 days before the event.

The ticket price includes entry to both days. If you are not able to participate on both days, it is possible to allocate the ticket to a colleague, or any other third party, as long as it will be informed to us at least 14 days before the event. It is not possible to change the person or the organization liable for the payment.

The workshops will be arranged on the same premises at Merikaapelihalli, there will be signs and staff guiding you through the area.

There will be special booths for chargers, and also lounge area with sockets available.

Our mobile application will allow you to book short 1on1-meetings

The key note materials, which we have had a license to publish, will be available here on the website, under the program section, for a certain period of time.

At the moment the event is meant for networking, so at the moment we don’t stream the full program. Some parts of the day might be streamed on our social media channels.

Welcome to MRKTNG Day 2019 by Mainostajien Liitto

MRKTNG Day is an annual event for marketers, already since 1972, for marketers. The event is held in Helsinki, Finland and the 600 participants will be CEOs, CMOs, marketing professionals, advertisers, entrepreneurs, media representatives and marketing and technology service providers.

Admission and invoicing

The organizer of the event, Mainostajien Liitto (VAT no: FI 02151996), sends customers an invoice according to the information given on the order form, or the admission ticket can be paid with Paytrail online payment (web bank or debit/credit card). By accepting these terms, the customer agrees to purchase the ticket of their choice at the agreed-upon price, as stated in the webshop.

Waiting List

If the ticket you wish to purchase is sold out, you will be added to the waiting list for this ticket category. We will notify you if any tickets in that category become available, invoice you according to your order. The price of the ticket will be the same that it was at the time you joined the waiting list. If you no longer want to be on the waiting list, please contact us at ml@mainostajat.fi

VAT 24 % will be applied on all ticket prices.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are not possible after buying the admission ticket. However, it is possible to allocate the ticket to a third party. The contact details of the new participant are to be sent to Mainostajien Liitto ml@mainostajat.fi immediately, at least 14 days before the event. However, it is not possible to change the person or organization liable for the payment.

There will be no physical ticket delivered. The admission will be valid after a check-in at the location with the participants name and company name.

Any breach of these terms will cause an immediate disqualification of the purchaser’s license without any refunds.

Attendee Information

All tickets need to be assigned to a person in order for them to be valid. Each ticket can only be used by one person. The person who made the order is responsible for communicating the possible change in attendee information to Mainostajien Liitto at least 14 days before the event. The person who ordered the tickets is responsible for sharing these terms and conditions and our privacy policy with the attendees.

The name, organization and title of attendees of each event can be shared with all participants, event partners and published on the event website. We will NOT distribute any additional information to third parties without your permission. The customer has the right to deny the permission to share their information with third parties by emailing ml@mainostajat.fi.

Organizers Rights

In the unlikely event of an incident that prevents the event from taking place (independent of Mainostajien Liitto), we reserve the right to make changes to the date and time of the event, and its associated activities. If this happens, we will notify all the participants of the new details of the event, as soon as possible.

MRKTNG Day also reserves the right to make changes to the event if there is a justified reason, such as unexpected issues with the location, or if a speaker is prevented from participating due to a medical emergency or the termination of employment. There are multiple speakers in the event, and therefore individual changes to the list of speakers are possible.

Marketing and Communications

Purchasing or assigning someone a ticket for MRKTNG Day event automatically adds the customer’s email address to our newsletter database. By default, the customer will receive event information, monthly company updates, and other relevant information directly to their email.

By attending MRKTNG Day, guests consent to be filmed and/or photographed, and for their image and likeness to be used in our future promotional material without compensation.
