Responsible Marketing Frameworks are becoming increasingly critical for brands. WFA ran a survey during the beginning of 2023 to broader understand the composition of these frameworks, some of their weaknesses and areas for potential collaboration across teams.
Eighty-eight per cent of companies have a Framework or set of policies in place and 87% agree they are critical to their longer-term licence to operate. However, they rarely cover all of the key areas identified by the WFA. As having such policies in place is becoming increasingly critical, according to 87% of respondents, this survey serves as a snapshot of the state of Responsible Marketing Frameworks across 38 global companies that represent $95bn in marketing spend.
