Case Study Vaasan Oy:
Vaasan is the baker of Finland’s best seller bread. A few years back the company discovered that talking about bread does not make them very interesting. People are interested in the bigger context and the wider perspectives on the future. Vaasan wanted to take a bigger role in the surrounding world and started to proactively anchor responsibility into their business and brand, for example through bread waste fight. The case will present their journey and learnings.
Mari Dunderfelt works as a Brand & Communications Director at the Finnish bakery company Vaasan. She is also responsible for Lantmännen Unibake’s (Vaasan’s owner) global sustainability strategy. Mari has extensive experience from food industry in Marketing and Communications Director roles.
